One of the problems in credit control is remembering when to call someone back when they’ve promised to pay you. The calendar enables Credit Hound users to keep on top of promised payments as well as remembering to review payment disputes.

The familiar look and feel of Microsoft’s Outlook calendar means most users will instantly feel comfortable and confident using the calendar reducing training and understanding time.

Events are automatically updated by your accounts system, so when an invoice gets paid the calendar will tell the user, so you’ll never phone someone when they’ve already paid you.

Every time you select an event in the calendar the transactions associated with are automatically checked it see if full payment has been made, if it has the event is completed and you do not need to perform the required action. Automatically checking for payments will save you a large amount of time and ensure you do not chase customers when they have already paid you.

The calendar can be viewed in, Weekly, Monthly, List views.

Alarms can be set against any diary event. Alarmed events that are not acted upon in time will be displayed in the 'Reminders' window.

The 'Reminders' window lists all of the events you have missed, you can see the customer’s name, amount and the name of the person involved in the event. You can open the event to see more details, dismiss the alarm or snooze the alarm.

A diary event contains all of the information you need to know to help you decide what to do next. It shows you the customer’s name, the amount of money involved, the person to contact and any notes that were entered at the time the event was created. You can see even more details about the invoice or invoices associated to the event by clicking on the 'details' option.

Events are created for you when you use the 'Rules & Actions' or 'Chase Screen' features. The diary also contains different types of events, from call-backs through to expected dispute resolves.

Completed entries, those that haven done or where the invoices allocated to it have been paid appear in 'blue'.
